Audrey's a big girl...

Well, my little baby is really a big girl now...weep weep...so fast. She requested to sleep in the big bed a week ago, but I didn't take her seriously. Last night, I moved the beds around so she can't roll off, so tonight she chose to sleep in the big bed. My little girl is in a QUEEN size bed and not her little crib anymore!! Whats next! give me the car keys mom?

Audrey has had any more accidents for the past few days! Yeah! and she has been sleeping in her underwear for over a week now. Sooo proud of her! What a beautiful daughter I have! She's more caring and understanding than I give her credit for. We were having soup for dinner, she saw that my bowl was empty, so she scoops some from her bowl into my bowl and tells me there is more for momma, so I can eat it now. She's so sweet. I can't believe how wonderful she makes me feel, how did I ever go on living without her before. I totally love this girl!

Today we went to the park and I had to raise my voice! but not at Audrey, at 4 children about 4-6 year olds, that were running around like animals. The boy was running around like silly, running into people and pushing things out of his way. Which is not a problem until in interfers with my Audrey's safety. She was at the top of this slide, one of 7 slides! ready to push herself down, he jump in front of her, knocking her off to the side, almost falling! So I started yelling at him practically, hopeing that his mom would hear and walk over. Told him that there is a line of this slide, there are 6 other slides that he can run down off with no one there. This slide Audrey was on had another little two year old behind her, and they push him to the side too, this 2 year olds mom was there too, upset also. The boy ignored me and went down the slide, the girl behind him try to do the same thing, pushing Audrey to the side and jumping in front of her. I was close enough this time that I held her back so Audrey can go down. Thinking that it was safe, I told Audrey to becareful and looked at her, when I turn around this little girl started down the slide already! She was about to run into Audrey! Again, I had to hold her in place so Audrey can get off the slide first. This incident happen again a few minutes later, the boy rushed over and got in front of Audrey before she sat down at the slide. I told him that this is a park, not a zoo, where is your mom...he said "somewhere over there, but I can play here." I don't believe this happen today. I am so prepared, if someone else tries this next time I will take him to his mom!

Anyway, we left the park, so did the little 2 year old boy that Audrey was playing with. I will not let this kind of incident happen again. We went for ice cream afterwards and stock up on popsicles too!
