WOW...time has really just breezed by! Only 30 days before the baby is due to arrive! December 11th, Tuesday, I saw Dr. Erickson for the second time, she was great, loved how she treats her clients! She order an ultrasound for next week to check the baby. ON the 19th, Wednesday, I saw Dr. Mayer for the first time, she was wonderful too and everything was good. Yesterday, 20th, I had the ultrasound done because my belly was measuring bigger than my dates, my fluids were 16.8 or so, which is good, I think she said 17 is what it is usually at. The baby is about 7 pounds and 1 ounce, give or take a pound, doubts that its 8 pounds, but certainly bigger than 6...so I guess about 7 is just right!
I'm very excited and anxious! I can't wait to hold the baby but I'll miss the times that Audrey and I will be alone. My little girl is not a baby anymore, she's definitely a toddler with her own set of ways now, most the time she is just the sweetest, most caring and lovable child ever! On a few occassions, she can be very 'toddler-ish' which is fine, part of growing up for her. Whenever she sees me in pain or discomfort because of the pregnancy, she rushes over to me, stopping whatever she was doing, to hold my hand and tell me to be very careful and not get hurt. Or if I tell her that I am hurting, she would tell me to go get medicine and stop the hurting. No words can describe the warmth and beauty this little child has shown me, she deserves more credit than I can give her! I love you Audrey!
Christmas is around the corner but we have not had time or energy to put up the tree. Its a plain Christmas, but the presents are all around! However, we have been to the mall and other places to see the decorations and trees other people have put up.
Every inch of my body from my chest down is as painful as it can get...I think...its sore and uncomfortable no matter what I do. I miss going about to do things with Audie because I can't move around that well. She is so understanding and caring that it hurts even more to think that I am depriving her of some fun time out of the house!
