This Pregnancy
Ok! I am really feeling the estrogen! Its making nausea all day long, so its day sickness for me instead of just morning sickness! I feel hunger all day, but the thought of food is making want to vomit! Sometimes I crave fruits all day long, but that isn't good for my blood sugar, so I limit my fruits now. I've craved beef all of a sudden and I don't usually eat that. The past week I've craved salty fish and plain rice soup. I cannot seem to find a food that I can be content with. The taste buds keep changing, but no matter how much I like it today I will think its disgusting the next. I hope this will subside soon. Then I can go back to eating normal foods...and healthy foods!

Chronic Constipation
Oh baby! So with my pregnancies, I get constipated! Normal servings of fruits and vegetables is NOT helping! Should I eat salads 5 times a day as the main course?? I will go get my salad makings first thing tomorrow!
Today Jamie came over and spent the day with Audrey. They zoomed through both play rooms leaving a tornado in each. They love to play together. They ate very well too! Today I made steam rice with green beans and minced pork, Audrey and Jamie both ate half a bowl of rice and 2 bowls of soup each!! I'm so proud of them!
I better go clean the kitchen up now! Tomorrow brings another mess; today's mess cannot wait.

About Audrey's Arrival
Audrey was created on November 23, 2004. She's totally adorable and amazing. She arrived one week earlier than expected and it is a story in itself. On August 7th, William said it would be nice if she was born on the 8th, makes it easy to remember her birthday. We work up on the 8th and nothing special was happening, so we went over to my grandparents house to play Mahjong, my grandma (Ma Fong) loves to play the game, so we did, I think I even won a few bucks, don't remember exactly. By the time we got home it was past midnight and I decide to put the stroller together. I pushed the box into the family room from the garage, William saw what I was doing and rushed to come help me, just as he grab the box from my hand, he knocked the box over and the corner of the box scrap my belly, right under my belly button. Well after faking some pain, he saw blood on the carpet and thought I was bleeding. After checking that I was not the one bleeding, we realize he has hit his toe and that was bleeding! After getting the stroller and carseat assembled, we went to bed.
August 9th, 2005~ William was downstairs doing stuff when I awaken. I heard a pop (thought I hit something or was still dreaming) and had to use the toilet really bad, as I rushed to the bathroom I realized I had a very full bladder...but I could not control the flow of my urine which I usually can do. I yelled for William and he rushed up to see me, I asked if that was my water bag, like he would know! So he went to get the phone and we called the doctor's office, they suggested we go to the hospital. I wanted to take a shower first, but he would allow it. We got to West Valley Hospital at about 2:30PM, after triage and confirmation of my labor, I was admitted and transfer to a room.
The Delivery~From about 3:00PM to 8:00PM I was fine, mild cramps, nothing I cannot handle. We made a bunch of phone calls, my mom, William's mom, my aunt Kom, she and Elaine even came to visit me, everything was under control. Just as I thought I was doing good I felt the contractions, really felt them! When I was transfer to the patient room, an Indian woman who's an anesthesiologist came and offer the epidural, I rejected and she was upset and told me that 95% of women get it, and I should too. I insisted I don't want it and told her I am part of the 5% that don't need it. I kept that stand even when the contractions came on super powerful, nothing I cannot handle! Then I felt my hip bones pulling apart, I guess my body was getting ready for the baby to come out. Took some pain killer through my IV to relieve some of the pain but I fell asleep from it too. When I woke up it was almost midnight, I had slept almost 4 hours, I guess the pain killer wore off. My cervix went from 1cm to 4cm! Yeah! Just 6cm more to go! Requested for some more pain killer, took the nurse an hour to get it to me, but we got it, and again I fell asleep. Around 4AM, my hips were tearing me up again, the nurse keep urging me to get the epidural and I keep saying "NO." I was at 8cm, still not ready for the delivery yet, but Audrey was under stress, her heart rate had gone up to over 240 and I was warn that if it gets that high again, I might need an emergency C-section. So I calm myself down and did some deep breathing exercises, her heart rate came back down to normal and as 5:00AM got closer, I felt that the baby was going to come out soon. We called the nurse and she said she called the doctor. Dr. Johnson was on call, he arrived at about 5:20AM, as he got ready I felt the baby pushing out. The nurse shouted at me and told me not to push yet, but the doctor said she is doing fine, let her do what she needs to do, its natural. I couldn't stop, Audrey was coming out on her own. Dr. Johnson got down to check me out and coached me to push and hold my breathe for a count of 10, I held it for 15. Rested for a 10 seconds or so, my next contraction came and Audrey was super ready to come out, on this count 10 the crown of her head was showing! Third push and her head came out! By 5:25AM, Dr. Johnson was holding her and crimp her belly cord, which William had cut off. OH, William....such a sport, he was standing to my left and holding my hand the entire time, we forgot the tripod, so didn't video tape the event. Dr. Johnson wrapped Audrey up in a towel and placed her on my belly as he went to take care of my 4th DEGREE TEARS! In my arms is the sweetie that was in my belly for the past eight and half months! After admiring her for a few minutes, the nurse took her to do their usual business. She's 6 pound 12.2 ounces at 19.5 inches with her head circumference of 13.25 inches and chest circumference of 12.5 inches.

Baby on the way?
Last month I was still pushing myself to loose those extra baby pounds I gained from having Audrey. We had a play date at Jenn B's house on May 31st. Jenn's the playgroup founder, she's expecting TWINS!! Totally excited for her! I was all into trying to figure out how twins come about, is there a secret way of creating them...or a certain time of the day...or magical foods you must eat! Turns out, its runs in her family. Its in my family too, but it doesn't happen often. My great grandmother was a twin, they actually had two sets of twins in their family, one set of boys and one set of girls. Well after talking to Jenn about her pregnancy, I notice I was feeling a bit odd myself. So instead of trying out the ovulation kits she gave me, I went to Walmart and got a pregnancy kit. Sunday morning, June 3rd, I did the test, positive! Well, those things can have errors, so I went to the doctor's office and did the test, results were the same. Made an appointment, which was this past Wednesday June 20th. Totally excited and confirmed. I saw the ultrasound image and heard the heartbeat. This is soooo awesome! Only problem is I don't know when the baby was created! I've been breasting feeding Audrey up to May 8th. The menses are never accurate when nursing, so I never kept a record of them. I know it didn't come in May...but when did it come in April? I think the baby was conceived on April 15 or 16, the ultrasound shows the baby being 9 weeks and 2 days as of June 20th! So there we have it, baby was conceived on April 16th! That is just toooooo cool! Baby was created on Daddy's birthday! If that is correct, estimated due date would be January 8th, 2008.
Where am I...whose body am I in!
I feel soooo sick today! No matter what I eat or not eat, I feel like something is gushing up my throat. I didn't sleep well last night, so woke up a little tired, but did some house chores in the morning while Audrey played with her new tricycle. Around lunch time, all I wanted to do was sleep! Audrey manage to fall asleep next to me but then I felt hungry, so I ate 'tong yuen' and then went to see if Audrey was awake for lunch yet. After she ate lunch we went to visit my mom, but the trip made me more tired and sick. Came home and went to sleep. Thank goodness my little darling is such an understanding child, she played with her toys and came to kiss me while I was sleeping, occasionally, she would come and pull my blanket up to my shoulder. By the time dusk came around, she was still playing, I awoke long enough to ask her to turn the lights on, she said "no, mommy sleep." I asked if she was hungry, she said "yes, get up mommy, hungry." We went down and had dinner, then ate half a cantaloupe and some orange slices. Gave her a haircut and then we both went to wash up. She's now sleeping like an angel and I have a ton of stuff to clean up downstairs....but where is my energy!
